CEF | Child Evangelism Fellowship
Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship®. Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. CEF has many different ministries for children, but the primary ones are the Good News Club and the 5-Day Club.
The Good News Club and 5-Day Club ministries take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers all over the world. These fast-paced, one-hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment.
Sanvil Dorsainvil pastors El Shaddai of Grace. The church meets on our campus and ministers to the Haitian population in our community.
Pastor Eric Stites
Pastor Eric Stites, New City Orlando Church, and his family are living in the Parramore Ave. area of Orlando. Ministry efforts are focusing on and gathering neighborhood residents to be a part of their church plant. As their core group grows, a public worship service will be established, and a new church developed that will give birth to churches in other pockets in the Central Florida area and beyond.
Daughters of Destiny
Daughters of Destiny, a ministry to incarcerated women in 26 states, is led by Covenant members Annie Goebel, President of Daughters of Destiny, and her husband, Mel, as CEO. Their volunteers reach incarcerated women for Jesus and disciple them while in prison and after release. Their goal is to lead women out of personal and spiritual brokenness to wholeness and abundant life in Jesus through salvation by faith, God’s grace, and His transforming work. Currently, Daughters of Destiny volunteers are active in the Transformation Journey in 26 states interacting with inmate ladies (Inside Daughters) in detention facilities across America. And ladies (Daughters Free) who have been released from prison. The sisterhood of Daughters is growing daily. There are currently over 23,000 members inside and now released.
HELPS Outreach has a simple mission: To help the poor and the needy of Collier County by clothing the naked, feeding the hungry and ministering to the hurting. All this is done in an evangelical setting. They receive and distribute anything of value: food, clothing, furniture, and miscellaneous items are given to those in need, without charge.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship The current ministry focus is to the campus communities at Edison State College and Florida Gulf Coast University. Led by Bill Harward, this ministry team reaches undergraduate students, students in the nursing program, International students and faculty through Bible studies, prayer events and other special projects throughout the year. Intervarsity extends their thanks. “Thank you for your faithful and vital partnership in prayer and financial support as we co-labor with Jesus on the college campus mission fields of southwest Florida.”
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Brunel Bienvenu
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Brunel Bienvenu Through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Brunel Bienvenu is investing himself in the lives of students and faculty, wherever they are on their spiritual journey, on two of the nine college campuses in Brooklyn.
New Horizons is dedicated to reaching the academic needs of at-risk children in our community. They provide over 700 hours of free after school tutoring each week at their Super Kids Clubs empowering children to reach their potential through education and mentoring. They are located in Bonita Springs and North Naples.
Pregnancy Resource Centers of Southwest Florida
Pregnancy Resource Centers of Southwest Florida (PRC) is a Christ-centered organization that exists to promote the inherent value of every mother and her unborn child. The soon-to-open Medical Center will provide accurate and compassionate care for those most vulnerable to abortion. Our Resource Center will continue to provide education, referrals and a Biblical worldview in all things. PRC believes that every life has a purpose and plan. With this high calling before us, they set out to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and in deed in order to meet spiritual, emotional and physical needs.
Presbyterian Reformed Commission on Chaplains and Military Personnel (PRCC)
Presbyterian Reformed Commission on Chaplains and Military Personnel (PRCC) The chaplaincy includes those who bring the Light of Christ into all kinds of hospitals, correctional facilities, hospice ministries, retirement communities, police and fire stations, and businesses. While you are reading this, PRCC chaplains are at work all over the world standing at a bedside, praying with a distraught couple, counseling an anxious Serviceman or woman, officiating at a graveside service, preaching Christ, or leading a Bible study in a far away place. Chaplains, represented by the PRCC, call men and women to faith in Jesus Christ and provide for spiritual growth, and encouragement.
St. Matthew’s House
St. Matthew’s House is in the business of touching hearts and transforming lives by offering preventative and structured recovery services. Their mission is to change lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined, as well as provide housing for the homeless and food for the needy. Super Seniors Ministry
Super Seniors Ministry, along with a small team, and with the help of many of our children at special times, John Summers ministers weekly to about 100 people in four nursing centers here in Naples. These people are largely forgotten by society and families and were delighted to receive small but special gifts this past Christmas. This ministry has resulted in many, some Jewish, coming to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Young Life, (Zach Gurick) is a world-class organization for adolescents. Their staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them—fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, they earn the privilege of talking to them about something that they think matters most of all—the truth about God and His great love for them. Young Life Collier County touches the lives of countless kids in Naples and Immokalee.
