Already, But Not Yet: Our Eternal Life

We do not have to wait until we die to begin enjoying heaven. The Apostle Peter tells us that we have been “born again to a living hope.” Heaven has already broken into this world, even though it is not fully here. The eternal life we receive in Christ is a quality of life that starts now but is completed then! As pilgrims passing through this life, God gives us foretastes of heaven to enjoy along the way. Therefore, we can travel through this life confident that heaven will be kept for us and we for it.
