Putting on Immortality:  Our Eternal Bodies

Since the beginning of time human beings have sought for the elusive fountain of youth. Yet we cannot escape the inevitable: our present bodies will one day wear out. Central to our hope of redemption, however, is the resurrection of our bodies in a glorified form. Murray Harris, in Raised Immortal, eloquently wrote that the resurrected saint “will know perennial rejuvenation, since he will have a prefect vehicle for God’s deathless Spirit, a body that is invariably responsive to his transformed personality.” When our soul is clothed in our resurrected bodies, we will finally be complete and free to glorify God and enjoy Him to the full.
