Greeters are the first friendly faces most people encounter at Covenant. Welcome people as they arrive at the Covenant doors for Sunday morning and special events. Greeters arrive 15 minutes before the assigned worship service or event.
Offer general information and assist with online event registration. The time commitment is 15 minutes before and after Sunday services.
Enjoy great fellowship, delicious food and serving the Lord. Join the kitchen team to provide food for Midweek Connection dinners and other special functions.
Help to catalog, shelve and inventory books and/or assist in checking items in and out on Sundays.
Meals for New Moms
Make or purchase and deliver a meal for a new Covenant mom and her family. When the new baby is born, you will receive an email with the dates that meals are needed.
Memorial Reception Team
Set up, serve and clean up as well as provide food for memorial service receptions.

Serve the congregation through prayer as part of our Sunday morning prayer team, Tuesday men’s prayer, Thursday women’s prayer, or join our email prayer chain.

Stephen Ministry is a ministry of care for individuals in our church and community. Stephen Ministers are trained to listen, pray, encourage, and keep one’s strictest confidence. Stephen Minister training normally begins in August. Click here

Serve middle school or high school students on Sunday nights or help teach our students how to serve the body of Christ. Opportunities include:
- High school small group leader
- Middle school small group leader
- Merge leader
- Student retreat leader
- Student mission trip leader
Serve as secondary greeters, distribute bulletins and help congregants find seats. Report 20-25 minutes prior to the beginning of the service, and serve one or two Sundays per month. After service, ushers help clean up.

Visit the homebound, those in rehab, and those in long-term care. Take Jesus to each bedside or residence and bless friends who are encumbered, enabling them to stay connected to their loving family at Covenant.
